I had my op on my elbow on the 29th December 2004. I had a big bandage on it for 3 days, and stitches and a dressing on for a further 11 days. On the 10th Feb I went back to see my consultant, and he pronounced the op a success! I just have to be careful what I do for the next 4 weeks, which is why I've not had chance to post anything until today! It's still achy, and the scar is itching like mad! But at least it seems to be fixed. Things in Duran-land are pretty busy. Andy's better & back with the band, thankfully. Apparently Roger broke his 5th metatarsal bone, and they had to postpone the Japanese leg of the tour to give him chance to rest and heal up. They US leg has now started. The guys got an award at the "Midlander of the Year" awards, and one of my net buddies is sending a copy of the programme to me so I can see it. They said on there that the Birmingham gig is the only one for the UK this year. Fortunately I have a ticket, thanks to another net buddy - Ali. Stage-wise the US tour is the what we had last year here in the UK, so I know that they've got a stunning show! Everyone seems to be enjoying it. Simon had a bad back for a few days, but it seems that he's OK now too. Today's a travelling/rest day for them, they're off to California for 4 dates and onwards... I'm amazed how many people at work, and online, have been thinking of me while I was off. It's nice to know I'm appreciated and liked! I'm bidding on some DD items on Ebay - I've won 2. Fingers crossed on everything else! And I might have some freelance web design work to do soon. It could be a big contract, but I'm not letting on any details until it's all done and dusted! I've been there before and lost out...
