Sword of Orion cover
I've just completed my Sword of Orion cover. I seem to have suddenly got inspiration on that one - it's been bugging me for over a week, but all of a sudden I've completed it in about 2 days! :)

I'm surprised no-one's taking the piss...
All my mates at work know that I'm a Spurs fan, and last night Spurs played against my local team - Grimsby Town. Town beat us! I can't believe the result, and all I've been hearing all morning is people going on about the coverage on Sky, the match itself, blah blah blah! I've actually had to close the door between my office and the adjoining one as I've got fed up of hearing the same things said over and over! I'm not a sore loser, and I know it's exciting for the locals, but I'm soooooooo bored of it already!

Still, it could be worse. I've not had any emails from anyone taking the piss.

Hmmm...
Well, it's been a while since I've had the time to post. Seems that lots has happened, yet there's not much to report! The main thing is that I've had my birthday, Paul bought me a DVD-recorder, and I think I dislocated my shoulder. It's popped back into place now, but I was off work for a few days because of it. Now I've just got muscular spasms in my neck and shoulders.

On the DVD Covers front, I've finished The Krotons and have also done a cover for Silver Nemesis - I did this version first, but although Paul liked it he said it seemed strange that there were no Cybermen! So I've now settled on this version - I've also learnt some new techniques. I'm trying to concentrate on the stories that we have on VHS, as I'm about to start converting them to DVD.

I've finally had a couple of chances to put the techniques I've been learning on these covers into pieces for work. I really need to get back to making my wallpapers though, but I seem to have so much to do now! And as I'm restricted to time on a computer, it's really hard to fit it all in!

Back from hols, and hectic days
I had a few days off round the bank holiday, and came back to work last Friday. Things have been pretty mental since then, but are settling down a bit more now. Judy's still with us, and is - generally - settling down well. I've managed to comb out all her matts. Paul's getting into his work more now, and has got really good at his job - everyone's really pleased with him. He was off sick last week though, as he caught a stomach bug. I managed to avoid it though.

Despite how busy things have been I've still managed to work on some more DVD covers.
I've made:
Series 1 Volume 1 (full colour)
Series 1 Volume 1 (colour wash)
The Daleks' Masterplan - I finally found out how to create a starburst!
The Daleks' Masterplan Version 2 - I recoloured it and prefer this version
The Dominators - I got some nice feedback on this one from one of the really great cover-makers on the forum.

I'm currently working on one for The Krotons.

I've also made a DVD R2 style cover for one of the Big Finish Audios. I've been listening to it on BBC7, and now the first story has finished I've made a cover for Storm Warning - I've discovered how to make lightning, and also got good feedback on this cover! I've not yet heard much of Sword of Orion, so I haven't got any particular plans for that one yet - but after this week's episode I might start.
