Logged on this morning, and went throught the ritual of logging on to my email, the OG forum, Blogger, and the Eccles forum. Scanning the Eccles forum, I spotted there were some more messages in the Talk thread... going to the menu I spotted that my new wallie has been made into the header image for that whole section! :) I couldn't believe it! DIY Sheep loves it, describing it as 'stunning'. I nearly fell off my chair in shock, and I couldn't stop grinning (in a slightly embarrased way!). I'm so chuffed that someone like them that much! I've now had about 270 hits on the wallpapers since I uploaded the new ones! That's not bad, considering they're only advertised on here, the Eccles forum, and OG. I really ought to start building a Doctor Who wallpapers website, or something, but I'm too busy with other stuff at the moment! I managed to write a bit more of my fanfic last night. I'll type it up this morning - it could well be that I've completed Chapter One at last! I also found all my sketches for the season 1 wallpapers (up to The Empty Child), so I can get cracking on one of those. I'm not sure though, if I should do a Captain Jack one first, or if I should move on to the 'Rose: The Episode' one! I've not really planned a Captain Jack wallie, so I'll probably do the Episode 1 wallie first. Downloaded a ton of fanvids yesterday, and watched a couple before leaving. I've watched what is probably the funniest fanvid ever - it's set to the Benny Hill chase music, and can be found on the dwfanvids livejournal community. I also watched deadflowerss "Die Another Day" vid - from the same place. It's brilliant, she really does know how to make a vid! I highly recommend her "Behind Blue Eyes" vid - it was the first fanvid I ever watched. It's really emotional, and brilliantly edited. I'm feeling really inspired by these vids, and I've got a few songs in mind which could be vidded. I just need a DVD drive in my PC, and all the eps to be available on DVD! I think I can do one from the first 6 eps, which are already out on DVD.
