Seems I've been caught by the social networking bug! I've finally given in and signed up for a MySpace account, although it's taking me an age to do anything with it! I actually don't like MySpace, but if I sign up I can get access to more bits and pieces on some band spaces (like OMD, Duran Duran and Onetwo). Got an invite from Chi (a friend I've made through the OMD forum) to joing Facebook. I've only got one friend at the moment, which is a bit sad really! But, I'm hoping that once I've 'met the family' properly I'll be able to add more friends from the forum... plus some of the girls at work are on it too. I'm busy playing and finding out what I can do! I want to get one of the photos they took for the work website to put on there, but I feel a bit foolish asking! Facebook seems a lot more logical to me. It's much easier to customise and add things to. I'm also a member of the OMD fan community social network. It's really new, and I was among a small group of about 10 people who took up the opportunity to beta test it. It's really nice and easy to use. Plus it's only filled with OMD fans! I've made quite a few friends there, it seems. Nice bunch of people - all on the official forum, but we mainly talk on the unofficial forum (it's a bit friendlier there, people are less precious! Not that I dislike the official forum).
